25.01.2022 Southern Right Whales at Port Elliot -

25.01.2022 Good morning all, we hope you had a very happy Christmas. Please be advised that we are fully booked on all sites and accomodation for the next 7 days and have very limited number of sites left in Jan 2020. If you are wanting to check what dates are available please either jump online and check our website or contact us here at reception. Happy holidays #summerishere #beachholidays #portelliotholidaypark #caravanparkescapes

25.01.2022 These are incredibly challenging times and it’s with heavy hearts that we won’t be accepting holidaymakers, effective as of 30th of March. This closure is in compliance with the Local Government’s directive in restricting any non-essential travel. The park will still accommodate people who already have the Port Elliot Holiday Park registered as their primary place of residence & those staying in caravan parks as interim accommodation where their primary residence is not avail...able. For any enquiries about upcoming bookings with the park please send through an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible. There will be a high volume of enquiries to respond to, so we do appreciate your patience and understanding. There’s a lot of uncertainty about things at the moment but we’ll be sure to update you with more about the park and reopening when things have settled down. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during everything.

23.01.2022 From Monday onwards the Port Elliot Holiday Park is open and can welcome guests & essential travellers. We are operating in accordance with South Australian Government advice which states that caravan parks may still provide accommodation to guests, permanent residents and workers, provided the people present do not exceed one person per 4 square metres. For any stays moving forward, guests must adhere to the below conditions.... A guest declaration must be completed on arrival for potential tracing documentation. Maximum of 10 People in any gathering. No Visitors. Please don’t invite any visitors into the park. All amenities, camp kitchens, laundries etc. must all operate strictly in accordance with the 10-person rule (providing the 4 square metre per person rule is adhered to). All recreational facilities such as playgrounds are open, however, strict social distancing rules are in place including 1 person per 4-square metres, or up to a maximum of 10 people for facilities where applicable. Social distancing practices still apply, including; 1.5m separation from others, limiting 1 person per 4m2 (excl. your household), and remaining in your accommodation unless absolutely necessary. Please practice safe hygiene etiquette. Wash your hands regularly, cover your cough & avoid touching your face. If you’re not feeling well please ensure you stay home for the safety of everyone. The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees are of the highest priority so we can assure you we are continuing to take hygiene measures very seriously. You can be confident that our park is being cleaned to the highest of standards, and that our staff are employing heightened levels of sanitation. We are constantly monitoring for any updates but will continue to follow the advice of the South Australian Government. For more information on restrictions visit the https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au//business-restrictions-and- If you’re unsure if you’re allowed to stay, please feel free to call us.

23.01.2022 It seems we have confused and misled some of our guests with our last post, im afraid we are still a no pet park, as much as we love our furry animals. We have removed the picture (we just thought it was cute) and hope that clears up all the confusion. We look forward to seeing you all this weekend

23.01.2022 We have just been notifed about a burst pipe in the park. Unfortunately we have had to shut of water to some of our sites. If you are affected by this we are truly sorry for the inconvenience, and we will have someone out to look at it at first light. In the meantime both amenities blocks and the camp kitchen are in full working order. Thank you for your patience.

22.01.2022 Schoolies weekend is here stay safe kids and enjoy your weekend. For anyone else just a reminder that we aren't taking public bookings this weekend, and we will struggle to answer the phone today, but leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as today dies down..

21.01.2022 We would just like to say a giant thank-you to Kate + Amo. Both the local community and ourselves really appreciate all the hard work you’ve put in over the past 28 years at BIG4 Port Elliot Holiday Park. You have not only created an exceptional park environment but you have also helped to shape the caravan industry in the Fleurieu Peninsula and for that we are incredibly grateful. You will be dearly missed by all of the staff and guests. We wish you all the best and hope you enjoy some quality time together.

20.01.2022 Wishing everyone a safe and happy New year's.... see you all in 2020.

We have noticed a few kids riding around near the boom gate, if you could remind your children to stay away from this area, cars are always coming and going and sometimes its hard to see the young ones and we would hate for any accidents to occur.

18.01.2022 It's with a mixture of sadness, and a lot of excitement, that after 28+ years, it's time to draw the curtain on our time here at BIG4 Port Elliot Holiday Park. Each year there's been rumours and speculation and we all knew one year it had to be true! So, as from August 21, we're off.... We leave the Park in the hands of highly experienced Operators who have fabulous plans for the Park and of course our amazing staff will be staying on, all of whom we will miss more than... we can only begin to imagine. If there’s one thing we take from our time in this glorious corner of the world that we’ve been so fortunate to call home, is the importance of simple times spent with family and friends. This is where memories are created and we’ve loved hearing how much your camping/caravan holidays at Port Elliot have meant to you. So now it’s our turn to spend a little time together, but wow, we’re also taking away our own amazing memories and fabulous friendships. So thank you and happy holidays. Amo & Kate
