21.01.2022 A friendly reminder that our restaurant is open for lunch daily, and inline with the COVID rules, it is a condition of entry into the Moss Vale Hotel that each patron use their QR Scanner to sign in. Our staff are on hand to assist should anyone have an issue with this process. Please call us if you are planning an end of year / Christmas party lunch or dinner, so we can discuss how we can work together on making this happen as easily as possible, and in compliance with COVID... rules. Our lunch service has been a little quiet in this last week, so if you’ve been worried about gatherings, now appears the time to come and eat with us again. Lunch service from 11:30am - 2:30pm, 7 days a week.

Chef Selina’s steamed Christmas pudding with vanilla bean custard and vanilla ice cream.... Both so scrumdidllyumptious. Oh, and if you order both, we won’t judge you.

This full-time position will be offered upon successful completion of a 1 month paid trial. The successful applicant must have demonstrated ability and previous experience in cooking; as well as good work ethics; be able to work in a team environment; and follow direction / instructions. This is the hospitality industry, so our Bistro operates 7 days a week ...with both lunch and dinner services. The Moss Vale Hotel is a family owned business and is renowned for its quality service and food in the Southern Highlands. 16.01.2022 Today has finally arrived, thanks to everyone’s hard work/self isolation, etc. We are OPEN TODAY.! Life has changed a bit, and so have we.... We have a new look happening inside the Moss Vale Hotel, and this includes a NEW menu (at the moment, no pizzas) here at the Porterhouse Bistro. 15.01.2022 Whilst we have a technical glitch going on, we will be OPEN today. However, there is a necessity to adjust our menu slightly to deal with this issue, and as such, unfortunately we won’t have steaks on our menu at the moment, and there might be some other slight variations to the menu. On a positive twist, we will be working harder to create Specials on this revised and temporary menu. Thank you for your understanding and patience and we hope to be on top of this ASAP.

11.01.2022 Monday, 1st June 2020. That’s the date we re-open. Obviously there are still Government restrictions in place, but we will be able to seat 50 people at any one time for meals during service. We will continue to adapt our business in accordance with with the Government guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers and staff, so we seek your assistance in compliance with any directions that are in place.... When you rejoin us at the in the Porterhouse Bistro in the Moss Vale Hotel, you’ll notice we’ve been very busy during our ‘closed’ period. 09.01.2022 To bring our customers up to date with our latest adaptation to this current pandemic, we have rearranged our seating in the main restaurant area, thus reducing the number of in restaurant customers and creating greater spacing for those who wish to dine in with us. Additionally and probably more importantly, we are now going to make ALL of our menu meals TAKEAWAY. This will allow you and your friends/family to continue to enjoy our Porterhouse food, in the comfort of your... own home, or an area that you’re comfortable being in. We will continue to monitor all expert advice and adapt our business where possible. Lunch service is from 11:30am-2:30pm. Dinner service is from 5:30pm-8:30pm.

08.01.2022 We are hoping that all our patrons are doing ok during our most recent ‘crisis’, and we thought it timely to remind you all that our main restaurant room seats a maximum of 80 people. We also have the ability to move tables to seat up to 4 people only instead of larger groups like shown in the attached photo. Additionally, we are 5 star rated in Food, Hygiene and Safety, so you know that your health and well being is important to us. 03.01.2022 This post is to advise all of our amazing customers that our restaurant and bar will now be closed until further notice. Please note that our Bottle Shop WILL remain OPEN, and we would dearly love your support whilst we go through these trying times. We wish everyone well, and if you haven’t started to yet, please take this COVID-19 pandemic seriously and self isolate if/when required.... We look forward to seeing you in our Bottle Shop soon, and hopefully in the near future, back into our restaurant and bar.

03.01.2022 Just a post to give you all a quick update, as we have been getting quite a few inquiries from our amazing customer base. Whilst there has been a change in NSW to allow restaurants/cafes to open and accomodate/seat up to 10 people as of this Friday, we will remain closed. We have been working away behind the scenes getting the Porterhouse Bistro and the Moss Vale Hotel ready for re-opening when the current trading restrictions for our business ease.... Keep safe, remember that our bottle shop is still open to serve you, and hopefully we will see you all very soon.
