From 3 August, the eligible employee test has been extended to include individuals employed on 1 July 2020 and not currently nominated for JobKeeper by another entity. Who are you looking out for?... - new full time employees - casuals may have ticked over 12 months service between March and July - employee or business participant may have ceased another job - turned 18 between between March and July Why? - 4 fortnights at $1500 each or $6000 per extra person - if you miss an eligible employee you fail the "one in all in" rule and so are technically ineligible (surely the ATO wouldnt do that... would they?) For the fortnights commencing on 3 and 17 August 2020, employers have until 31 August 2020 to meet the wage condition for all new eligible employees included in the JobKeeper scheme under the 1 July eligibility test.

Now I knew they were not just an ordinary pair but a unique piece from an Australian owned business. I order a reasonable amount from online Australian businesses, especially since Covid. Soft bags arrive in the post which are great, novel even, but they often lack lustre. Today was DIFFERENT. The Ix...iah package was a lightweight box and suction wrapped, which impressed me to begin with. I cut open the plastic and there was a beautiful black box, bound with a feather-adorned gold band. I have to say its the first time I have ever been really excited to open a parcel, where I knew the contents. It really felt like Christmas and I hadnt even opened the box. So when I lifted the lid and found a personally written note and a welcome gift of Australian made hair care products - just because- I was bubbling. I still hadnt made it to my jeans but Im serious, I was actually getting more excited. The jeans should not be called jeans. They are perfect, intricately adorned denim washed pants that are ethically made from ethically sourced materials and the quality is superb. I had to re-wrap it all up just so I could experience it all over again. What is your product? How do you stand out? Do clients feel special? Do they LOVE what you do? Do you have an excellent online presence and simple shopping/sales option? Make it easy to access, simple to use, enjoyable to browse and finish with something impressive. We should learn from everyone, be unique and build a business model and personality to suit your product or service. If that is cheap and cheerful then thats great, own it and market it as such. If it is higher quality and more expensive, make the client feel like it is worth every bit and more. Make the experience special. See more
