20.01.2022 We are now taking enrolments for our Kindergarten Program 2020. What we have to offer here at Port Explorers Cooya Campus: -We have an amazing Kindergarten teacher Miss Shae who provides a quality play and learning based program. Our program not only meets the children’s individual needs but also helps the children to become school ready. -Our operating hours run from 6.00am-6.00pm with our kindergarten program running between 9.00-4.30 there is no need to rush home from wor...k for pick up. - We provide 3 nutritionally balanced meals a day. 16.01.2022 As you are all aware a huge majority of Australia is suffering from catastrophic bush fires. The amazing people in the Douglas shire have started up not only a collection of various items but are also putting on a huge garage sale with proceeds going to bushfire victims. Below is a list of items that they are collecting. If you are able to donate any of these items please leave them in the office and I will organise to get them dropped off. Let’s rally around and help those in need! It is heartbreaking to see so many people lose everything!

Changes to measures around external household cleaning, operation of water features and the cleaning of vehicles, boats, jet skis and trailers are all part of a stronger push to conserve water.

02.01.2022 A huge thank you to Kiley from Woolworths in Mossman for delivering our certificate today. We were lucky enough to win a $1000 Landcare Grant which will go towards us becoming more sustainable within the centre by having our own gardens in the Kindy yard. The children will be able to watch the process of growing our own fruits, herbs and vegetables from when they were seeds to being harvested and used in the cooking of our food. Thank you Woolworths!
