24.01.2022 Great result for the Mining and Pastoral region with Kalgoorlie local and mine site experienced champion Nick Fardell picking up the number 1 spot on the ticket and well known ex Port Hedland now Karratha resident Daiva Gilliam number 2 spot. Great outcome for the Pilbara over all.

23.01.2022 You really have to question the Labor Governments priorities when a $50 million cash-splash to connect the Victoria Park caf strip to St Georges Terrace is announced, whilst the Hedland Senior High School goes without.

23.01.2022 Now thats smart thinking.

22.01.2022 Pretty simple concept. Live near where you work.

22.01.2022 Vince Catania MLA fleshing out how opening borders, opening businesses is great but those reliant on the peak tourism period in the north, the window of opportu...nity of recovering is closing for the north. He also noted the widely accepted point that Premier & Government announcements are growing in their political nature. Mr Catania asked for the Government to table their Health Advise See more

22.01.2022 It’is important to the WA Nationals and local Port Hedland Branch members to get in behind this petition to rebuild our 1 and only high school of 50 years of age. Members are out getting signatures on every other day and supportive buisnesses have clipboards racking up signatures in store as well. Smirkeys Sport Store has always been a promoter of local youth initiatives with a sheet of signatures filled before I left the store.... Jess over at Beard & Shears demanded we put one on her counter which saw 20 signatures in 30 minutes. The new Dental Surgery at the Boulevard also jumped onboard with some very enthusiastic ladies with perfect smiles . Scott Bourne is leading the push for Port Hedland children to receive the best opportunities possible in their education facilities. We encourage other supporters to get on board and help get this done. We Deserve Better

21.01.2022 CELEBRATE OUR GREAT STATE As we mark WA DAY The Nationals WA Leader Mia Davies MLA encourages as many West Australians as possible to get out to our regions a...nd enjoy what our wonderful State has to offer. HAPPY WA DAY! #RegionalWAMatters

20.01.2022 No good answers for the Pilbara

19.01.2022 NatsWA Leader Mia Davies MLA - Shes already been to Albany more times since the last Albany Show than both Labor & Liberal leaders COMBINED. Why? Because NatsW...A are Regional Always. Here she is in MENZIES at the best place for internet connection in MENZIES. She like the rest of her team are everywhere like oxygen listening to you. See more

19.01.2022 If by chance your heading to Karratha tomorrow and interested in a chat with Nationals WA preselected champions Scott Bourne and Daiva Gillam supported by visiting Mia Davies pop on down to Onyx Bar. See details in the picture. Will have one of these in coming months in Port Hedland so stay tuned.

18.01.2022 Terry Redman MLA going through the important timeline of the Premier in relation to the Al Kuwait ship & the COVID cluster under the WALabor Governments watch.... The Premier misled the people on what happened & when. The WA Premier needs to table his briefings and show leadership. He jumped the gun & threatened Live Export. The tone has changed in WA. The political landscape has changed, the Premier has dropped the ball & looked less than capable. See more

18.01.2022 Looking forward to Nick getting up here to Port Hedland sometime soon. For those that dont already know, Nick Fardell ran for the WA Nationals in the last federal election and again has been selected for the #1 ticket spot for the WA Mining and Pastoral seat.

18.01.2022 Its a tough world in the Pilbara on a normal day. Add work stress, family issues , mental health problems or financial pressures and you have a recipe for a massive problem. This week is Mens Health Week... Lets work this out as a community.

16.01.2022 Thats about how I would say the next election will end up. Scott Bourne #1

15.01.2022 The comment of the governments position is our position is a worrying stance.

15.01.2022 The only way to guarantee a fair share of mining royalties is spent on the needs of the country regions. Vote Nationals Scott Bourne #1

14.01.2022 Ok it’s election week and these posts will soon stop but please if you have a community bone in your body then give yourself a couple of minutes to meet Scott Bourne Nationals candidate for the Pilbara. Labor and especially our nonexistent current member Kodak Kev have to be shown the door and here is your new selection. All BS aside it’s time for someone else to have ago.... Brendan Grylls showed great things can happen through the Nationals and that we are the only party that fights for the bush. Come Saturday give Scott your number 1 vote and Kevin your number 9. You won’t regret it.

14.01.2022 The people of regional WA are the engine room of this State. But this Labor Government has poured billions into Perth city projects while the regions still lack the basics. You deserve better.

13.01.2022 WELCOME to the team! The Nationals WA have welcomed more local champions to our Mining and Pastoral team ahead of the March 2021 State election. Great to hav...e Tessa, Kieran, Lionel and Mark, to join Nick Fardell to fight for regional WA! Kieran (Left), Lionel (Centre) & I catching up and talking all things Mining and Pastoral and in particular Pilbara. #MiningandPastoralRegion #RegionalalWAys #royaltiesforregions #TheNationalsWA #pilbara The Nationals WA Nick Fardell - The Nationals WA Mining & Pastoral Region Candidate Rowena Olsen - Nationals WA, Kalgoorlie Vince Catania MP Member for North West Central Millie Hills - Nationals for the Kimberley

13.01.2022 Its a yes from Port Hedland

13.01.2022 2 days ago he offered to broker talks on trade with China claiming he had a great relationship. Today WA barley farmers are left without a market an alternative plan or a premier as hes hiding from questions.

13.01.2022 Its not all super serious Recreational activities in the Nth West are essential to the mental health and family time of those that live here. Fill out your m...embership before boarding. All other political party members will be tagged and released

13.01.2022 As the Nationals predicted your faith in Labor to act in the communities interests is based on announcements for funding no one is ever going to get.

13.01.2022 Great efforts in getting started. Talk to those in the town and learn where to focus policies that will assist the community and organisations achieve great outcomes. Step 1

12.01.2022 HEDLAND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL crumbles while Labor Government commits to a $50m bike and pedestrian path. The Nationals WA candidate for Pilbara Scott Bourne - N...ationals WA, Pilbara has called on the Government to get its priorities right and invest in essential education infrastructure in the region before pursuing vanity projects in Perth. We agree! We wouldnt have a problem with a new bike path in Perth if this Labor Government hadnt cut #RoyaltiesforRegions and left vital services and infrastructure like Hedland Senior High School without funds. Thanks to North West Telegraph for covering this important issue. #TheNationalsWA #RegionalalWAys #Pilbara #Hedland #education #SeniorHighSchool #RoyaltiesforRegions

12.01.2022 This morning I stopped in and had an early morning coffee and catch up to say thank you to some of our local First Responders. #ThankAFirstResponder

12.01.2022 WANDER OUT YONDER IDEA GETS SHOT OUT OF THE SKY IN NORTH WEST Member for North West Central Vince Catania is calling on the Labor Government to urgently step... in and secure more air services for Exmouth, Carnarvon, Shark Bay and Paraburdoo as the towns strive to rebound from COVID-19. It is all fine and well for the Tourism Minister to tell West Australians to Wander Out Yonder but theyre not going anywhere if there arent the flights to take them to the States remote locations, Mr Catania said. The State Government is naive to think the majority of time-poor travellers are going to jump in their cars and drive a thousand kilometres for a holiday. Take Exmouth for example a 13-hour drive from Perth. There needs to be a flight a day to the town, not just three a week. Tourism-related businesses in Exmouth were initially buoyed by the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions that had crippled trade but many of their bookings are being cancelled because visitors cant fly to the town. Others have changed their plans because of the high cost of the few available flights. Please see attached for full details. 11.01.2022 Pilbara Nationals Scott Bourne is clearly a man Port Hedland needs in State Parliament. Scott has set down the challenge for the state government to overturn their initial low ball attempt at giving Port Hedland High School kids the best opportunities to achieve greatness without going to the city for education and requests a new rebuild as the 1 and only option that should be implemented.

11.01.2022 Gday Mr McGowan, since you only shared a post with 22 images from the southwest, heres 22 of my best pics of the Pilbara region! Please share to show that the...res more to WA than just the southwest!! #cjwalkermedia #cjwalkerphotography #mytop22 #epicpilbara #pilbaralife #Pilbara #thisiswa #justanotherdayinwa #wonderoutyonder

10.01.2022 The Bourne family has been blessed with the arrival of their daughter Alice Grace Bourne. Congratulations to you all

09.01.2022 Nationals WA Fishing for the future.

07.01.2022 Great conversation with the WA Nationals Nicholas Fardell. Our candidate for the Mining and Pastoral region.

07.01.2022 HELPING HANDS FOR HEDLAND Like many community service groups Youth Involvement Council Inc. have had to adapt during COVID-19 restrictions. The Nationals WA L...eader Mia Davies MLA and Scott Bourne, candidate for Pilbara, caught up on the councils great work with youth in the town during a visit to South Hedland today. It is so important support for these services continues in the region. #RegionalAlWAys See more

05.01.2022 There it is folks a rolled gold commitment from National WA Scott Bourne and Nationals leader Mia Davies that a vote for Scotty is a vote for a better future for your kids and the Pilbara as a whole. . A vote for Kevin means you get a Marina maybe

05.01.2022 Scott Bourne I AGREE WITH THE PREMIER - Sort of. The Premier has stated he wants to incentivise FIFO workers from the East to come and live in WA. ... I am calling on the Premier to go one step further in his FIFO relocation plan and create incentives to encourage workers to settle in regional Western Australia. There is clear evidence that FIFO has detrimental impacts on the mental health and well-being of workers and their families, and multiple reports that recommend moving away from the practice where possible. This is the Governments chance to step up and insist that communities in the Pilbara, who prop up the states economy with major projects, are prioritised as part of the relocation plan. The Pilbara communities of Newman, South Hedland, Port Hedland, Wickham and Karratha should be more than FIFO camps for Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Premier, now is the time for more than just lip service on reducing WAs reliance on FIFO. There needs to be true backing of regional development in the Pilbara. https://thewest.com.au//coronavirus-crisis-the-perth-and-p

05.01.2022 No interest in regional towns. No interest in regional education. No interest in North West growth.

05.01.2022 Historically, country pubs have been the lifeblood of many regional towns - we think it's pretty fair to say it's near impossible to find a town in regional WA ...without a pub! That's why an elected Nationals WA Government will create a $16 million Country Pubs grants program funded by Royalties for Regions. This program will: Support accommodation and pub restoration works Activate funding for skilled staff training, development and retention Work with local TAFEs to match hospitality students with regional pubs and breweries Now that's something to say CHEERS to! #TheNationalsWA #RegionalAlWAys #YouDeserveBetter

04.01.2022 We can not let this chance to re-route at least some of the work forces required for regional resources work to live locally and for the surrounding communities to retain some benefits that have so far been funnelled straight into government revenue.

04.01.2022 Local young and smart family man steps forward to be the Pilbaras next champion. Check him out and follow his run @ https://www.facebook.com/scotty4thenats/... https://www.pilbaranews.com.au//nats-plump-for-bourne-in-p

02.01.2022 Its time folks to pack up your travelling gear as winters here and the warm north west is about to be open.

01.01.2022 The Mining and Pastoral ticket is now full with some very good candidates coming forward. Lionel Quartermaine from Carnarvon grabbed 2nd spot and Keiran Dart from Karratha has put his nomination in to help and garnish support for our Scott Bourne https://www.nationalswa.com/community-champions-join-the-f/

01.01.2022 Its incredible the challenges that are faced by regional North west towns with the mining companies consistently trying to circumvent existing local infrastructure and with the seemingly tick of approval of the city centric state government.
