21.01.2022 Following our last post regarding COVID-19, all netball will be postponed until the 30th of May based on advice from Netball WA who have just released a media statement. This includes team/club trainings, netball events (bloodyslow cup), north west trials / trainings. Our volunteers are working closely with Netball WA on what our next move will be and your patience’s is greatly appreciated at this time.... 13.01.2022 The Port Hedland Netball Association met last night to discuss the future of the 2020 season with our clubs, volunteers and committee. The Port Hedland Netball Associations number one priority is the safety of our membership, their families and friends, all of which contribute to our vibrant netball community. In placing the safety of our membership first, the Port Hedland Association has chosen to not move forward with a 2020 season, but rather continue to consult with our... membership and prepare to come back stronger in 2021. The Port Hedland Netball Association has been working hard to develop a new three year development plan for our Association, in addition to reviewing critical policies and procedures to support the future growth of netball in Port Hedland. With too many uncertainties in the current COVID-19 environment, we hope you understand that this is the right decision for our membership. We really appreciate the patience and time it has taken to consult with Netball WA and our committee around this decision. We are excited for the 2021 season!! Members who have already registered, please contact your clubs directly for a refund and deregistration. Net Set Go participants, we will be in contact with you in the next few days with refund information. Thank you again for everyone’s patience through this difficult time and we hope to see even more people take the court in 2021.

08.01.2022 CANCELLED MONDAY - Junior Registration night, New and Old players welcome, have a run with your team or find a new team!... TUESDAY - Seniors pre season round robin grading night! Registrations for all clubs should now be open, if they’re not please contact your club directly!

08.01.2022 ALL CLUBS, PLAYERS, PARENTS PLEASE READ UNSPORTSMAN LIKE BEHAVIOUR As per our code of conduct any players (Juniors or Seniors) Officials or Spectators seen to be displaying unsportsmanlike behaviour will be asked to leave the courts. This is not acceptable and will not be tolerated at Port Hedland Netball Association. ... Please feel free to approach a committee member if you are concerned about any behaviour occurring around the courts. A copy of our code of conduct is displayed in the Clubhouse. We ask you to respect each other including the other team, umpires and coaches. SCORESHEETS It has been noticed that a number of scoresheets are coming back to the Clubhouse which have been filled out incorrectly. Player’s full names First Name and Surname must be written on the scoresheet. As of Round 4 any scoresheets which are not filled out correctly the team will be penalised 2 points. No exceptions. GAME BALLS The Association provides each court with a match ball. Please ensure that this is used for all matches. GOAL POSTS If your match is the last scheduled game each team is required to take one post down after the game. It helps with cleaning up at the end of the night RUBBISH If you see any rubbish lying around the courts, please pick it up and put it in the bin. Especially water bottles, we have been issued recycling bins which we will distribute around the courts

There is important information regarding the use of equipment and social distancing. Other than fitness sessions as laid out in the document, Port Hedland Netball Association reiterate that all trialing, training, grading and competitions continue to be postpone.... Please continue to be patient and we will provide updates when we receive them.
