13.01.2022 Hey Blasters and Blast parents. Sorry for the delay in getting something to you on this years Blast Program. Unfortunately Cricket Victorias current advice is that due to Covid restrictions, we don't run Blast until February next year. I am really hoping that we will get some different advice soon but for the moment we have to follow Cricket Victorias direction. Stay tuned though as soon as new guidance is released we will be on to it. This year we have some exciting news..., there will be more sessions, alternative days and more locations to do Blast that we have ever had before. 07.01.2022 Hello Blasters, Finally we have the clearance from Cricket Victoria to commence Blast. This year there are a few changes to how blast is run. Previously the Portland Cricket Association ran the program on behalf of all the clubs. This year it is going back to club level so kids can have a connection to a club and a coach that they can follow through their cricket progression. The Portland Tigers will run a Junior and Master Blast program at Hanlon Park from... 7 December to 21 December 2020 Break - 4 Weeks 18 January to 15 February 2021 South Portland will run a Junior and Master Blast program commencing in Term 1 next year. To register for Blast go to www.playcricket.com.au and search for Portland. The registration is up for the Portland Tigers Blast Program and the South Portland one will available at some stage in the new year. We look forward to seeing as many as possible now that we can get out and run the program in an effective Covid Safe manner.
