25.01.2022 Beginning Wednesday, 18 November 2020 the pool is open for lap swimming and hydrotherapy exercise only. It is strongly recommended both members and casual users 'book a session' using the YMCA SA App. Bookings are not required to casually use the learners/program for hydrotherapy exercise. The 25m lap pool is available Monday to Friday 6am-10am & 4pm-7pm, Saturday 8am-11am, and Sunday 9am-12pm. 16.01.2022 Great news Swim Lesson families, get ready to resume swimming lessons TOMORROW!! Simply show up at your standard class time (no need to re-enrol or anything like that). Upon arriving at the centre, you will see new COVID Safe signage with a QR code. Please ‘check in’ by scanning the QR code using your mobile phone and the mySA GOV app! You were not charged for the two week closure period and direct debits will resume as per their normal schedule. 15.01.2022 Aligned to recent clarification on the latest Emergency Services Directive, the Centre will open on Monday aligned to standard operating hours. Further details and restrictions are noted below: Memberships will automatically resume as of Monday Swim lessons will not resume on Monday (students will remain on suspension). School/DECD swimming are also not yet allowed. The pool will be open standard hours, but only available for exercise (lane swimming and aqua fitness)... and hydrotherapy. Bookings are strongly encouraged on the YMCA SA App for lap swimming and aqua. The gym is open (no requirement to 'book a session', just drop-in). 24/7 will resume as of 12:01am Monday morning. Group fitness is open (strongly encouraged to book on YMCA SA App) Stadium sports and squash (user groups and casual drop-in) are not available Water fountains are closed. Strict adherence to 1 person per 4 sq/m and 1.5m social distancing (group fitness class occupancies reduced). Thank you for your patience as we reopen.

We are eagerly awaiting further direction from the SA Government before resuming Swimming Lessons, recreational swimming, and stadium sports (casual drop-in and leagues). While the government has indicated that ‘community sport’ can resume on 1 December, the details that govern how this can be conducted and delivered has not yet been released. ... Once we receive the new Emergency Declaration and can confirm a restart date for these programs we will update Facebook and send out an email. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

07.01.2022 Our Safety Weeks are back for 2021! From March 1 through 7 (Monday - Sunday) students in all class levels Tadpole to Shark (that's 3yrs+) will have the opportunity to participate in various water safety activities, exercises and drills. It’s a FUN way for kids to put their learned skills to the test, and demonstrate water safety practices to use in the real world! Swimmers are to wear old clothes to class that week to practice exercises with the added weight of clothes.
