12.01.2022 FUN FACT // Did you know horse racing is one of the most ancient of all sports? Racing as we know it today is believed to have begun in the 12th century where at the time, English knights returned home from the Crusades, bringing Arab horses with them. The Thoroughbred breed of horse was produced with Arab stallions where bred with English mares. The outcome was a breed with endurance and speed.
