25.01.2022 *SENSATIONAL SATURDAY PT2* Well as expected we had a BIG day today. We had another 3 adoptions - Brax, Moo and Odin. We had two dogs returned to owner, one dog surrendered, one dog put on hold and microchipped 4 Italian Greyhound puppies. All in a days work. Thankyou again to everyone who visited and for your patience while we ran between meet and greets plus paperwork. We will be back to it all again next week. Have a great weekend and we could not be happier for these lucky dogs!

23.01.2022 *FOUND* Imp 530 "Nicknamed Mercy". This young little female lilac point Burmese mix was found Friday near Lake Rd PMQ. She is not microchipped. She will be impounded for 8 days to allow an owner to reclaim her, otherwise she may be made available for adoption. If you are her owner please contact us (proof will be required). Thankyou

22.01.2022 *FOUND* We have had two beautiful female dogs found and brought to us this morning. -Imp 490 Lexi. 4 year old Kelpie found roaming in Johns River. Microchipped, not registered, unable to contact owner. -Imp 491 "Nicknamed Cedar". Young under 12 months Kelpie/Collie mix found roaming in Beechwood. Not microchipped. 15.01.2022 *FEEL GOOD FRIDAY* We are loving our feel good friday tradition, especially after a big day. Today we took in 5 dogs and 2 cats so its nice to see some adoptions and enquiries. Today Eddy the Kelpie and Wednesday the Cat were adopted, yesterday Lolly the cat was adopted. Thankyou to all these beautiful people, enjoy your weekend with your new family member. We are open Saturday 9.30am-11.30am and will be quite busy with meet and greets so hopefully tomorrow we have a few more adoptions!

13.01.2022 *FOUND* Imp 532 Coco. Male Crossbreed. Microchipped but not registered and phone number disconnected. Found and dropped to Wauchope Vet. We are now closed, open back up Monday 10am. Thankyou

12.01.2022 *AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION* Imp 489 Noah. Noah is a two year old blue brindle male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He was surrendered due to a relationship breakdown, however, as we could not contact the original owner he has been impounded for 2 weeks in the shelter. He is now looking for his forever home. He loves people and kids. He has ben very easygoing in the shelter, great with routine, kennel clean, has not been noisy or destruction. He is good with other dogs but can be selective so we recommend a meet and greet if another dog at home. He is being desexed tomorrow so will be available from Wednesday 9 June 2021. 11.01.2022 *AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION* Imp 531 "Sally". Sally is an 11.5 year old Corgi x Terrier. She was surrender in April due to the flooding disaster and homelessness. She was immediately adopted, however, has just been returned as she needs some additional house training and someone home alot. She has always been quite easygoing in the shelter though, quiet and happy. She seems fine with other dogs. She was previously microchipped, registered, desexed and vaccinated. She has been wormed and flea treated. We don't believe she has any additional health concerns. She is quite a happy, energetic little dog, just needs somewhere she can live out the rest of her life and be loved. Her adoption fee is only $62. 08.01.2022 *SENSATIONAL SATURDAY PT1* We are off to the best start today with the adoption of Babs (now Pride) our Xoloitzcuintle who literally shut down our phones when we put her up for adoption during the week. Sometimes with our adoption there is a little bit of fate involved. This wonderful couple had been considering the breed, coincidently saw the post, were first to call and on our doorstep first thing when we opened. We know she will have a wonderful life now. We have called this post part 1 as we are hoping for a few other adoptions today. We are open 9.30-11.30am. We have 2 4 month old black kittens - Titus and Theo available along with several medium/large adult dogs.

02.01.2022 *FOUND* Thanks to the NSW SES Port Macquarie Unit this little kitten was found and brought into us overnight. He has been nicknamed "Triton", black and white fluffy kitten, not microchipped. He is still a little timid so may not be owned but he will now be held for 8 days to allow us to reunite him with an owner otherwise he will then be offered for adoption or to a rescue organisation.
