Info for this weekend 18/7 Pirates v Vikings at Stuarts Park *LATER START TIMES* (awaiting Zone Approval) ... 14’s kick off at 12.15pm 16’s kick off at 1.20pm 18’s kick off at 2.25pm Later start times due to Port Sharks JRLFC Memorial Day. Rugby is back this weekend with our Juniors representing our Club for the first games in 2020. Please get down to Pirate Park from Midday & support our young Pirates. Ensure you use the Hand Sanitisers available, add your details to our Covid Registers & any help in keeping our players, families, Officials & other spectators safe by following safe distancing guidelines, would be greatly appreciated. If you or any member of your family are unwell, we ask that you stay home.

18.01.2022 A HUGE weekend of Rugby coming up at Oxley Oval. Our U14’s boys kick off at 9.30am, followed by our 16’s & 18’s. Our Pirate Womans team will take on a LMNC team, Old Bar Clams at 1.30 (tbc), followed by what many may say will be the highlight of the day, our Vintage Ports taking on the Wrinkled Horns. At 3pm a LMNC First XV fixture, ‘Barbarian Hogs’ (a mix of Pirates & Vikings) take on Old Bar Clams. Under 14’s. 9.30am Under 16’s. 1030am... Under 18’s. 1145am Womens. 1.30pm to be confirmed Golden Oldies 2.30pm LMNC First XV 3pm If you are coming to the games this weekend please adhere to the below. Practice social distancing, use hand sanitiser and sign the register. If you have been in Victoria in the last 14 days or visited a listed hot spot in NSW, please stay at home. If you are feeling unwell please don’t come. Also we need to minimise the number of spectators. So only those that need to attend should come, and leave as soon as your game is over. To ensure we can continue playing Community Rugby, we will be relying on everyone to follow these new guidelines for the benefit of us all.

Rugby Union is a sport that require...s courage, strength and confidence, while at the same time demands the upmost respect and accountability on and off the field for all involved. This sums up the Team Spirit Award, which is presented to the teams that our PMJRU officials feel have shown these outstanding attributes throughout the season. These Shields bear the names of local rugby enthusiast that do their upmost to uphold these standards and be a positive role model for all our Junior players and families. See more
