24.01.2022 As our Christmas break approaches, I thought I would take this opportunity to thank you for the job you do in relaying messages to your team and to give you a little information on upcoming events and important dates: 1. There will be NO games on Thursday 3rd December as NSW touch will be preparing the fields for Senior State Cup. 2. Both JUNIOR & SENIOR competitions will break for Christmas from Tuesday 15th & Thursday 17th December. *There will be no Christmas parties this ...year due to COVID. 3. SENIOR competition will resume on Tuesday the 12th & Thursday 14th of January. 4. JUNIOR competition will resume on Tuesday 2nd & Thursday 4th February. 5. ALL competitions will conclude on the Tuesday 2nd & Thursday 4th March (Being the Grand Final week for Senior competitions). *Juniors will receive their rewards during this week.

14.01.2022 After a tremendous amount of work by the NSWTA in conjunction with Port Macquarie Hastings Council and assistance from the Hon Leslie William MLC, the NSWTA #St...ateCup will go ahead, albeit in a far different format than has ever been played before. The NSW Health Minister, the Hon Brad Hazard, has approved an NSWTA submission for discrete zones at the event. This means there will be four (4) zones across the precinct that can have up to 500 persons at any one time inclusive of participants, officials. While this is a real positive, it still presents several logistical challenges in the delivery to meet both the Public Health Order and conditions of the exemption. Given the large numbers of participants at the State Cup and the need to adhere to the Public Health Orders and NSW Health exemption and advice, the event WILL be played under the Arrive Play Leave Protocol. It will also be a non-spectator event. We’re coming to terms with what will be a different event. However, we are thankful we have been granted the exemption from the government and excited we can continue with the event. Especially so in a year, where a lot of other sports have been forced to cancel their state championships due to COVID-19 stated NSWTA General Manager Dean Russell. 06.01.2022 Hi folks, thanks for all the questions. Sorry for the confusion but we really appreciate how everyone is getting excited and keen to get back on the field. Firstly, eligibility for age divisions: To clarify the years of birth for our Summer Junior Competition: ... Under 8 Born 2013 to 2014 Under 10 Born 2011 to 2012 Under 12 Born 2009 to 2010 Under 14 Born 2007 to 2008 Under 16 Born 2005 to 2006 The years of birth were those used by NSW Touch for Junior State Cup. they allow a four year range so that smaller affiliates like Kyogle (Go the Turkeys !!), Yamba or Gunnedah, who might send only one or two teams, can have younger kids playing in the next age group up to make up the numbers for the team. In our case, we have boys and girls teams in every age group from U10s to U18s. We do not have U8s in Junior State Cup. ========== Secondly, which day are what age divisions playing? No change from last year: Tuesday afternoons: 4:15 pm U8s and U10s 5:00pm U12s Thursday afternoons: 4:15 pm U14s 5:00 pm U16s Due to COVID-19 protocols, all games will be 30 minutes with change of ends after a try is scored. There will be a 15 minute period between games for people to leave after their games and to allow others to move to the fields. :-)

05.01.2022 Summer Competitions update... Due to all the rain of late (and more to come this week), we have received advice from PMHC that the grounds will be closed until at least 28 January 2021. So, the rounds scheduled for next week (12 and 14 January) and the week after (19 and 21 January) will be wash-outs.... More information will be provided as it comes to hand over the coming weeks.

05.01.2022 More info on the 2020 Junior Competition... Registration Fee is $86 This year it includes uniforms.... The Junior Competition runs from October to February. Teams can opt to finish in December, if they wish. The longer competition means our kids won’t be disadvantaged when JSC(N) comes around. Players not in a team should register against: Under 8s Players Without a Team Under 10s Players Without a Team Under 12s Players Without a Team Under 14s Players Without a Team Under 16s Players Without a Team We will then endeavour to place these kids in a team or create additional teams from them.

So they then need to scroll down the list to the Jets team that is in the Port Macquarie Touch Association U12 competition. The player then clicks on that team and is able to register into the team.
