15.01.2022 Good Morning Everyone, As at 8.00Am this morning Friday 22/02/2019 Tropical Cyclone Oma is located about 770Km East of us. It is currently a Cat 1 Cyclone which... is the smallest type. The wind here this morning is 17-20 Knots gusting 25-30 Knots. The system is forecast to move further south west today before stalling east of Brisbane but still well off the coast. The system is then forecast to move North but stay well off the coast. We are still expecting wind around 25 -30 Knots with gusts of 40+ Knots Sunday and into Monday as the system moves north past us. We are still continuing with our preparations and they will all be completed today. All vessels in the hardstand/ dry storage areas are secured and all owners have been contacted to address any issues we have seen with vessels berthed in the marina. The system is expected to continue moving up the Queensland coast away from us but I would like to stress that the system is still active and as such unpredictable on its future track but all the models are in agreeance on its movements into next week. 10.01.2022 We would like to advise everyone that Bundaberg Port Marina is still open for business and will continue to operate as per normal until further regulatory advic...e . WE ARE STILL TAKING MARINA BOOKINGS however, as per government and health organisation recommendations all citizens are advised not to travel. This includes vessels going to different ports. We can take you into the marina if it is imperative you have to travel but our advice in line with other organisations is not to travel for the next few weeks.
