24.01.2022 A big 3 days for the club hosting the Pakistan Cricket Association of Australia for their Cricket Mela. Some quality cricket played throughout the carnival with the final today going down to the wire. Big thank you to everyone that helped out throughout the carnival.... Sewelly, Jason, Kev, Dan, Bill, Greg, Dylan, Riley & Sid. Well done to Adnan Khawaja and all the PCAA committee for putting on a great show & choosing PMCC to host.

22.01.2022 VALE- PAUL CROCKER We are saddened at the news of the passing of past player Paul Crocker. Paul was a member of our Championship winning 1986/87 side. A dashing middle order batsman & one of the best cover fieldsmen going around. ... A friend & mentor to many. Our condolences to the Crocker family at this time. As a mark of respect, all players will wear black armbands for this weekend’s matches. RIP Crock

21.01.2022 SENIOR DEBUT- Congratulations to Luke McFarlane who made his senior debut yesterday in the 4th XI vs Parkdale. Luke, although a touch nervous as you would be as a 14yo playing against experienced players, made the most of his debut by producing a handy spell of bowling at a time when we needed to break a partnership & picked up his first senior wicket. Luke picked up 1/9 from 4 overs with some more than handy leg spin & was unlucky not to finish with 2 or 3 wickets. Well done Lukey, the first of hopefully many senior games for the club

19.01.2022 A great debut for Finn Wright presented with his cap for his Senior debut by Shaun Winchcombe. A great game by both players with Shaun Winchcombe picking up 4/11 from his 7 overs & first gamer Finn Wright with 4/16 from his 6 overs. Great game by both the veteran & the debutant.

18.01.2022 In more re-signing news, we are pleased to announce that Ryan McDonald has re-committed for season 2021/22. Ryan was awarded the Club Champion medal in season 2020/21 after a superb year with both bat and ball. He brings leadership to the group and has the typical Borough ‘never say die’ attitude. At the recent Cricket Southern Bayside presentation night; Ryan was awarded the MVP for Division 2, against some quality opposition, which was a well earned reward for a great season. Great to have you remain at the Borough Ryno. Looking forward to another big season ahead.

08.01.2022 What a senior debut from Ben Lucas. The 15yo playing his first senior game produced something special with a patient 35 with the bat, top scoring for the Borough and also produced a rare feat of a wicket with his first ball on debut. Club historian; Terry Keenan is going to have his work cut out for him to find out when the last time this was done over the past 146 years, if at all. Well done Ben, a big future ahead.

04.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that current 1st XI Captain & 2020/21 Batting Average winner; Luke Boyadjian has re-signed for season 2021/22. Luke had an outstanding season in 2020/21 leading the team to a finals appearance, going down in the last over of the semi final. Luke’s leadership, both on & off the ground last season helped develop some of the younger player which in turn will hold us in good stead as we continue our journey in sub district cricket in the upcoming season.
