25.01.2022 Had the pleasure of doing a portrait of my good friend and colleague Kevin Freeman the other evening, Kevin was celebrating 30 years since joined the the Royal Navy in 1985 serving 18 years and a further 7 years in the Royal Australian Navy. Reaching the rank of Sub Lieutenant he saw active service in a number of campaigns. It was a practice shoot for the up coming Reflections Project images I will be doing for the AIPP in conjunction with the RSL and Australian War Memorial... Reflections aims to photograph the remaining Veterans of WWII to create a significant archive for the nation that reflects a sensitive portrayal of their elderly state and provide a cognisant comparison to the wartime images of young active men and women. 12.01.2022 Here is a little portrait I did with the lovely Ashley who was travelling around Australia and popped in for a portrait shoot to remember the trip. The brief was to capture her as she is today whilst having the time of her life on a once in a lifetime trip around the world. Portraits can be special for all kinds of reasons and none more special than this. We are taking bookings now for the rest of the year, all sorts of options from studio to location, very flexible services and great value for precious moments.

11.01.2022 When I get a sunday morning to myself it gives me time to experiment with some of my stock images, all part of developing future ideas, possible locations and allows me to use techniques I often put to one side in order to do every day work. I came up with this shot from a range of images taken some time ago, was a bit of fun putting together, but at the end of the day something a little different . Certainly stretching the left side of the brain. Its not prefect as first edits often are lacking something, still thought it was worth sharing.

08.01.2022 Well I haven't posted on this page in a long long time, but thought today as I sit looking at some of the past years work that I should really share on our portraits page. With our studio based now 76 Chapman Road Geraldton, we have ample room for Animal and Pet portraits as well as the traditional family photo shoots Corporate Head shots, and character portrayals. I recently shot these lovely Whippets in my studio and just love the final fine art print we produced for our clients, printed on Canson Infinity Platine Rag and custom framed.
