22.01.2022 To The Amazing Customers of Pupstars (human and doggos), from Chanika Some of you may already know this, but for those who don’t: today is unfortunately my final day as a Daycare Attendant at Pupstars! After over 6 years, from a 16 year old work experience student with big ambitions to a 22 year old with more to come, this job has truly been my second home and one of my greatest achievements! As much as I am attached to this job and all the furchildren I think of as... family, it’s finally time to move on and expand my life experiences! I will still be offering my petsitting services through Pupstars (you can’t fully get rid of me yet), but I am officially stepping down from my Animal Attendant duties in the shop as I continue on with new career paths and continue my studies to become a Vet Nurse I am forever grateful for everyone who has trusted me with their dogs’ care, for allowing me to be a part of your furchild’s life, and for all the kindness this close community has given me as I’ve grown from a teenager to a young adult. You may still see me around, whether it’s through dogsitting, or at my new jobs at Petstock and the Emergency Vet (hopefully not the vet though ) I hope all your doggos behave themselves (cough Red stop getting into the treat jars cough) and that they live their lives to the fullest! Thank you again, I’ll never forget the Pupstars Pack PS: Check out some of my favourite (and silly) memories throughout the years

06.01.2022 Storm season is here! Not only are the beautiful city and the surrounds we live in heating up, it's also time for the raining season! (Our lawns are all sayin...g "thank the LORD") During this storm season, it's so important to remember that your animal's are TERRIFIED of the thunder. While we can't do anything to prevent this from occurring, we can do some things to help ensure the safety of our beloved furries this season: - Always make sure your animals are either inside or have a safe place to hide if you know a thunderstorm is approaching - Make sure all animals have not only collars on, but ID tags with your contact information, in case they do make a run for it, someone will be able to contact you if they can catch them - Take this time to make sure your animals microchip details are all correct with your up to date contact information registered to them - In severe anxiety cases, see your general practice vet and talk to them about what they can do to help your animal get through the storm season Remember, we are always here for you 24/7, should you ever need us. If in doubt, give us a shout! We hope you and your animals stay safe this storm season
