14.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS: The NSW upper house vote on the #koalakillbill has been delayed. We’ve now got some extra time to make our voices heard, so please sign and share... this petition: www.change.org/p/save-the-nsw-koalas The Local Land Services Amendment Bill will, if approved, push koalas even closer to extinction in NSW. The number one threat to koalas is habitat loss and fragmentation, so please sign the petition calling on governments and developers to stop bulldozing koala habitat.

14.01.2022 Our male koala Dazza has been having issues eating his leaf. He has been eating half a leaf, before be drops it onto the floor. To check to see that he was okay he was x-rayed yesterday. It was a possibility he may have had arthritis in his jaw. Our vet Ilona couldn't find any. But the muscles from his skull to his jaw are quite wasted and she believes this is why he is having issues eating. ... Luckily, muscle deterioration can be long term managed with medication. He is now back in his yard. Fingers crossed our little man is on his road to recovery. *************** To use this photo in a commercial player or in broadcasts, please email [email protected] You too can help by donating at: https://portstephenskoalas.com.au/donate/
