20.02.2022 Port Stephens Podiatry is still open. In light of recent COVID 19 developments, the clinic has introduced more significant infection control measures in addition to our continued adherence to industry protocols. These measures include- -Patients to be escorted by our staff direct to treatment rooms from outside, avoiding waiting rooms -Staff will open and close all doors for you, so the only thing you need to touch is the treatment chair itself... -A more streamlined appointment booking system, avoiding unnecessary contact in reception areas -All patients will be contacted before their appointment and asked about prior travel and illness - Hand sanitiser for all visitors and the issue of masks if needed. We will continue with the regular cleaning of all clinic equipment and surfaces, instrument sterilisation procedures and of course our friendly and professional service. See more

23.01.2022 Ingrown toenails, heel pain or just general toenail care.. our patients always feel great leaving our clinic... and we strive even harder to ensure that our patients feel this way

16.01.2022 Suffering heel pain? Book an appointment with one of our friendly Podiatrists to get your treatment plan started! Remember the key is to identify the heel pain early- before it becomes a chronic condition.

16.01.2022 My old high school in Brisbane have sent 100 students to detention for wearing the wrong shoes. It is important your child has the right school shoes. We recommend Skobi Shoes

10.01.2022 We agree with our friends at Little Big Feet. Also check out their great shoes for little feet.

08.01.2022 Are your children complaining of sore feet? Children’s feet aren’t fully developed until around puberty, however we can help with managing the pain whilst your children’s feet continue to grow!

07.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder about your annual diabetes foot assessment EVERYONE with diabetes should have a foot assessment performed by their health care practitioner at least every 12 months (and some of you might require more regular assessments at three or six monthly intervals). At this appointment we will check your blood circulation, nerve function, note any previous foot ulceration or foot amputation sites, check for any foot deformity as well as any other clinical sym...ptoms. We also take the opportunity at this assessment to look at your shoes (so bring in all your shoes to the appointment!) as well as discuss your blood glucose control and any other medical issues that might be relevant to your foot health. This is a really important step (please don't mind the pun!) in your ongoing diabetes foot health - as it allows for the clinical assessment and identification any feet that are "at risk" of diabetes foot complications. Remember early detection and treatment of foot problems is that BEST way to prevent further complications. So if you're due for your annual foot check, please book an appointment with your health care practitioner today!
