22.01.2022 Lest we forget.

19.01.2022 It was great to see our friends from NSW Maritime drop into our IRB training at Fingal Beach today.

15.01.2022 We are always working on our skills, this weekend we had a number of our members involved in the ALBERT course at Fingal Beach SLSC. This course improved the skills and knowledge around our Inflatable Rescue Boats. #mysurflife #rescue #training #surflifesaving

15.01.2022 Port Stephens Water Police came across this interesting fact ... The port was named by Captain Cook when he passed by on 11 May 1770, honouring Sir Philip Steph...ens, who was Secretary to the Admiralty. Stephens was a personal friend of Cook and had recommended him for command of the voyage. It seems Cook's initial choice had actually been Point Keppel and Keppel Bay, but instead he used Keppel Bay later. 03.01.2022 #LIFESAVING // The patrol season maybe over but our Duty Officers across the state continue to up skill. On the weekend SLSNSW Director of Lifesaving Joel Wise...man hosted the group of over 100 branch Duty Officers and Australian Lifeguard Service Superviors for a training weekend. Keynote speaker Shane Fitzsimmons inspired everyone and created productive discussion and ideas for the team. Thank you to all who took part across all 11 branches!

02.01.2022 Some of team members had the privilege of joining this training last weekend. These are valuable skills that we use in all facets of our operations and help with further developing our inter agency cooperation. Thanks to NSW SES - Port Stephens Unit for organising. #mysurflife #rescue
