20.01.2022 See you all in Six Days!!!! We hope SA can all do what’s being asked of us and come out the other side quickly as possible so we can spend Christmas with Family & Friends.
19.01.2022 It is with Sadness that we announce that the Gala Day event will not proceed in Port Vincent- New Years Day 2021. ** Due to Covid 19 - this year has been a challenge to say the least! This particular event is a Fully Volunteer organised and managed event, also being funded purely by fundraising, donation & sponsorships- As with many events this year across the state- the decision to cancel was not made lightly and had to be made awhile ago- due to the massive amount of plann...ing required to host such events. * along with the fact that Fireworks in the YP Council district will not be allowed across the Christmas / New year period- due to lack of resources to comply with the SA Govt Covid monitoring requirements. ** this event is the Port Vincent Progress Associations major Event & Fundraiser for the year- we are disappointed of course- But plan on a Fabulous event in 2022!!!!!! All going well!!! We look forward to hosting many visitors to our region this festive season! And respectfully remind you that.... even though we are regional- all restrictions and guidelines around Covid-19 still apply. Stay Safe & Sanitized !
19.01.2022 Our planned start date is here, but due to circumstances beyond our control and especially the current La Nina weather pattern the painting of the mural has bee...n postponed until Autumn 2021. Whilst we would have loved to see it completed before Christmas we now look forward to next year which will be here in no time. It promises to be something special when it is completed, and well worth the wait! See more

12.01.2022 At this time in South Australia it is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended to wear a mask when out in public and you can’t physically distance (1.5m fr...om others). Please note: children under 12 years of age do not need to wear a mask, as they may not be able to handle it safely. The term ‘face mask or mask’ includes reusable cloth masks, and single-use face masks (commonly called surgical masks). At this time, ‘fitted’ face coverings, such as bandanas, scarves, or neck gaiters can be used if you are unable to find a cloth mask, or single-use surgical face mask. Face masks that have unfiltered one-way valves should not be used. Important things to remember about wearing masks: 1 Once your mask is on, it is important that you don’t touch or adjust the front of it while wearing it it’s the part that’s protecting you from COVID-19. If you do touch it by accident, wash or sanitise your hands right away. 2 Before putting your mask on and after taking it off, remember to thoroughly wash and dry (or sanitise) your hands.
