25.01.2022 Todays number for fish n chips 0429952464

25.01.2022 It is with great disappointment that after all the hardwork done last year to recover from Cyclone V this year we were dealt another blow by Damo. The committee (@Col Bennett) has been working tirelessly to try and get repairs done but unfortunately due to repairs required all around surrounding areas Tradies have their hands full. Due to this we will not be opening until further notice. There is still some unskilled work to be done and an AGM to be had.... We will post a busy bee and a meeting date soon. This club is run 100% by volunteers and we would love to have some new blood with new ideas going forward. Regards PWYC Committee

25.01.2022 The PWYC needs you. AGM this Sunday 17:30 at the Club.

If you answered yes to any of the above then the Port Walcott Yacht Club needs you. We are a 100% volunteer run club that has been operating since 1973. We are looking for people who can volunteer one Sunday a month. Without volunteers we cannot operate. If you feel you can help and are willing to give up some of your spare time then why not come down to the Yachtie on Sunday the 9th at 5:30pm for the AGM. Come join a club where the only thing we take seriously is having FUN. Without your help this awesome club might not be able to operate like it has and that will affect a lot of local clubs and community groups. Your club needs you! come and have some fun and give back to the club that has been giving to our community for so many years.

04.01.2022 What a huge success the Pilbara Fishing Extravaganza 2019 was. Glad we could build on what was already a great event run by the VMR. With the help of VMR especially Andrew Cowell, Rob ODonnell, Nick Murray and Tom Knight we managed to kick it up a notch this year. To the PWYC crew Joe Willsher, Kylie Bennett, Colin Bennett, Bojka Strong, Darren Strong, Kelly Nunn, Sam Thorne(the ice man) great effort!! Everyone has done an amazing job and I cant thank you enough. To the ...great people who volunteered on the day and again on Sunday. Justin Gooding, Mark Apletree, Kat Apletree, Kelly Willsher, Lianne Ball, Bernie Henshaw, Mick Smith, Hayley Smith, Margot Mcllwain,Terry Doyle, Jane Oliver, Natasha Malek, Paige Malek, and all the others that I might have missed plus the kids who were running around doing Jobs. A huge thank you to all the sponsors as without their generous support this event would certainly not have been what it was. A huge thanks to Edward Bidall who also helped alot behind the scenes. I know we were all happy not to have to touch a computer and for Edward and Nick to sort it.
