21.01.2022 Cairns City Council's Australian Day Awards was a great success and a most enjoyable celebration. Our President was nominated for two awards - Volunteer of the Year and Citizen of the Year however he missed out this year but recognition was its own reward. Well done John. The occasion was followed by a delicious barbeque allowing all attendees to give congratulations and network in a wonderful atmosphere.

20.01.2022 STEADY STEPS - Next Steady Steps Program is being organized and dates will be advised so watch this space. Tentatively the program will commence mid March 2014

19.01.2022 President John Ehm received the Quiet Achiever Award from Scope Club Cairns (Barbara Howard pictured) for his tireless volunteer work for Positive Ageing, OWLS, Heart Foundation etc. Congratulations John!

19.01.2022 The Positive Ageing Fair provided service and resources information and activities to over 50s, and others interested in Ageing Positively in Cairns, as part of the Cairns Festival. The latest Positive Ageing Steady Steps Programme was also launched today. A great day was had by all!

All volunteer Helpers whether you have helped in previous classes or have just enrolled are requested to attend.
