17.01.2022 We have been super busy over Easter with several projects on the go. One project completed was this new keyplate installation including an ASI-bus I/O as well as a new CIP loop on an exsisting CIP skid, with all the assosiated pumps, valves and process instruments

16.01.2022 Here we have a new 1.5L bottle trail on crate caser that PCE have been working on. We fittted new vacuum head, infeed & outfeed control. We also reprogrammed the PLC program to accommodate for all bottle formats, which included minor sequence modifactions.

10.01.2022 PCE currently have 2 positions available for electricians with experience in the food and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. POSITION 1 is a full time ongoing role. In this exciting and challenging role you will be working across multiple sites in the food and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in the south eastern suburbs. You will be undertaking varying roles including: - Project works/ new installations - Electrical Maintenance - Factory and building maintenance... - Electrical shift coverage - Attending to plant breakdowns Candidates must possess: - A grade electrical License - A current Victorian driver license - Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance, including problem solving skills, and reactive solutions - Experience in PLC & HMI programming (Certificate IV in electrical preferred) - Experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures and requirements - Work experience in the food and/or pharmaceutical industry - Computing skills - Ability to work efficiently and autonomously - Great communication skills with ability to work in a team environment - Sound knowledge of OH&S regulations - Flexibility in hours of work to cover shift work and overtime In this position you will be provided with a car, phone and laptop. POSITION 2 is a 6 month contract for a full time afternoon shift electrician at a food manufacturing plant in Bayswater 3153. This position has similar requirements as position one. 09.01.2022 PCE and our customer are very happy to have this bottle conveyor control system in and running before Christmas

08.01.2022 We have moved out of home! PCE now resides in Rowville, we chose this location so we are central to our clients and close to Eastlink. Having a factory space means we can work more efficiently on panel builds as well as have somewhere close by to our clients to store spare parts.

06.01.2022 Last month Mick was invited by L&Hs industrial automation branch to visit the Schneider Electrics factory in Singapore. There he was introduced to Schneiders new Eco Structure Architecture where the products have all been designed to connect and collect data and all aspects of any facility can be connected. All building, data, manufacturing assets and everything in between can be accessed and/or monitored and stored from a single platform. Mick said Personally it is one of the most impressive product ranges I have ever seen. If you have a new application, I strongly recommend taking the time to have a look. 04.01.2022 One area we specialise in is optimisation of existing equipment. The fastest this 20 year old blister line had run was 180/minute. By focusing on all the minor issues and correcting them we now have the blister line running at 250/minute.

02.01.2022 Its been a busy couple of months for PCE. What a pleasure it has been to be a part of a well planned project that turned this drawing into a reality for one of our customers. Here we have a brand new kitchen using Siemens PLC, HMI & Remote I/O, IFM AS-I bus master, Danfoss VSDs networked on Profibus, Pentair AS-I Process valves, IFM AS-I instrumentation. Its a hamburger with the lot! Thankfully the project rolled out smoothly through all the corona virus uncertainty.
