10.01.2022 The power of bringing people together is limitless. We regularly draw stakeholders from different professions, backgrounds and religious institutions to discuss important issues in the local community. These meetings are a chance to share knowledge and find common ground so that we can move forward and achieve bigger goals. This recent event brought together chiefs, church leaders and government ministry of health reps to work through some of the tricky dynamics of HIV treatment and culture in Luo land. The 'ways forward' that participants arrived at were inspiring and have opened a whole new range of possibilities to support people to adhere to their life-saving HIV drugs. #intheirhands #HIVtreatment #biggergoals #positiveaid

09.01.2022 There are no roads here! Community health workers follow these tracks on foot or bicycle to visit the people they've heard need help. No matter the distance, the weather, or when the tracks disappear into savannah land...they will make it. Today they are wearing bright new uniforms and medical kit bags from positive aid, proudly emblazoned with their tribal words 'rito ngima jomoyie' - caring for the lives of those who have HIV. #positivepeople #togetherwecan #grassroots #gratitude #warriors
