Not everyone is after big muscle gains, but everyone i coach is looking to change their body composition - everyone wants less body fat and to maintain or add muscle - and so it is with Manu N Reshma. ... 15.01.2022 Hey Champions, I wanted to share a quick story with you - this is Wilma, one of my online coaching clients performing one of my at home exercises. I wanted to celebrate her amazing achievement - in her first 4 weeks she has lost 5 kgs and improved her body function. Her program ? Daily cardio, a disciplined resistance program and a much improved way of eating which is sustainable and friendly on her body. ... Do you know that the first thing Wilma told me before she started was that she didn’t want to train hard. I listened and now she is at the lightest weight than she has been for the past 10 years. 15.01.2022 Hi Champions, I wanted to share one of the people I’m lucky to coach and her amazing transformation. I started coaching Lisa approximately 12 months ago - she had done a good job in losing 3kgs on her own and has now lost another 22kgs with me. ... This was a combination of cardio, weight training and disciplined eating. Most of all it was her application to the tasks I had given her. I find this to be a very common point of failure for many people - when I give them my commitment to coach them to where they want to be, they often fail because they are not disciplined enough to stay the journey. While Lisa has achieved outstanding results - what she has done is follow the plan set out for her with many adjustments along the way. Is that really so hard??? What has failed in your own journey? The plan? Your commitment? Your hard work? Why not stop being scared of commitment and actually do the work. Whatever you choose to do in your day, be awesome at it. 10.01.2022 Morning Champions Welcome back. What a weird time we live in. One of the important ideals to follow is to control what’s controllable. So much of what we’re dealing with at the moment is out of control. ... But our own fitness is totally within our control. No one can tell us not to exercise - in fact Governments tell us specifically that we must exercise. This was today - managed to see the sunrise which I love. I encourage you - control what you can control and don’t stress about the rest. Have an amazing day, be a good human and spend time with someone you love - respecting the rules. Martin x

06.01.2022 Morning champions I want to start sharing with you some of the amazing people I’m fortunate to Coach each week This is Manu - a man who has now lost over 13kgs of fat and can now expose more of the muscle in his body that we have been able to build over the past year. ... He’s a family man but still finds time to run nearly every day and to lift, pull and push weights every day. He is a great example of having a good balance in his life because he works full time and still has a healthy social life. That’s the focus of what I teach - improved fitness behaviours - no one has to be perfect, just get used to being uncomfortable so you’re in the zone to make change. 02.01.2022 Hey Champions; I wanted to share with you today my lock and home screens on my phone. I keep these pictures in front of me because they represent my struggles when they have been most real. ... The pic with Strong and Fierce on it was at Geelong Ironman and the other is at Cairns Ironman. Both of these events were very tough days for me - but I can look back on them and remember how much they hurt and how much I had to apply my Mental Strength Training. Two things helped me get to the finish - which is what I now use in coaching my clients through their transformations - 1. Own the moment - take responsibility and action. 2. My feelings are just my feelings - they are not who I am. I know in the overall big picture of life, these are not much really, but I find I use these mantras many times per day so they are real for me.
