25.01.2022 HOT WEATHER TIPS: Never take an animal to the beach unless you can provide a shaded spot and plenty of FRESH water for them to drink. Make sure that you rinse the salt water or their skin & fur as soon as you can with fresh water. Always provide plenty of shade for your pet staying outside the house. A properly constructed dog house or access to your shaded back patio is best. If you can, bring them inside during the heat of the day and let them rest in a cool part of your house. Always provide PLENTY of COOL, CLEAN water for them at all times. And make sure that you regularly check their water bowl for toads, if you find any in the bowl make sure that you get rid of the toad and clean the bowl and refill with fresh clean water.

06.01.2022 HOT WEATHER TIPS: In hot and humid weather like ours don't force your pet to exercise after a meal. If you are going to exercise them make sure it is in the cool of the early morning or evening. Don't leave your dog standing on the road, and keep walks to a minimum, particularly in really hot weather. They are much closer to the hot surface of the road and their body may rapidly heat up, and their paws can burn as they are not protected. And make sure you have some water with you for them to drink.

NEVER leave your pet alone in a vehicle, even with the windows open, a parked car, truck or van can become a death trap for them. Parking in shade offers little protection, as the sun shifts so does the shade. Make sure that you carry with you a bowl and a bottle of cold water so that you can make sure that your pet stay hydrated at all times.
