23.01.2022 Today at Possum Ridge our printer was was becoming jammed for no apparent reason and once we opened it up we discovered a very good reason! A small spotted python had slithered in and made it's home. Luckily it was unharmed by the rollers but was understandably very unhappy and and did not want to be removed. A few gentle coaxes and a few hundred angry little strikes later he finally returned to the scrub. We also had a visit from what we think is a Longhorned Beetle, big enough to give us a jump when going to open the door. The nearby rainforest always brings interesting little critters to our office.

20.01.2022 The last 2 weeks, especially with tick season on us, has seen many fur babies come into our care and it has been taking a little longer than usual for pets to be able to return home. We appreciate your patience at this time and please know we will do everything can we can for your furry, feathery and scaly babies to be back home with you again soon. Thank you again and we hope you all stay safe over these school holidays.

13.01.2022 *Important Covid-19 information* Possum Ridge Pet Cremations continues to be operational during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our regular opening hours and after hours services remain available as per usual.... Due to the evolving COVID-19 crisis we have implemented changes to our procedures/practices to ensure the safety of our staff, veterinary clinic staff, the families and clients we assist and to ensure we are compliant with Social Distancing Regulations. We understand that the loss of a pet is both heartbreaking and stressful, even more so during these uncertain and challenging times. Please know we will continue to treat your pet with the same care and respect and do our all to assist you in every way we can. The temporary changes to our services are in place to ensure we can continue to remain open to assist families in the event of the passing of a beloved pet throughout the COVID-19 crisis, and we thank you in advance for helping us make this possible. 09.01.2022 Christmas and New Years Closures; Our office/crematorium in Mount Sheridan will be closed Wednesday 25th December, Thursday 26th December and Wednesday 1st January. A staff member will be on call over these periods and after hours services will remain available from 5:00am - 10:00pm as per usual, should you require assistance following the passing of a pet.... As the year comes to a close we would like to once more offer our sincere condolences to all the families we have assisted who have lost their beloved furry, feathery and scaly family members. We hope you all enjoy a safe and happy Christmas and holiday period and wish you all the best in the New Year.
