Possums Hollow (one of our 2 timber cabins) now has two king single beds in one bedroom, perfect for families with kids and also for folks who are happy to share a room but not a bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and one single bed. Hooters Hut still has 2 queen beds. Both cabins have delicious new pillows and donnas and are looking great. Bookings are coming in fast so if you are thinking about returning to Possums or Hooters or if you have always wanted to stay please get in touch. 06.01.2022 HOW LUCKY ARE WE?? We are Anna and Tony, and at 2pm today, we purchased Stanthorpe’s best kept secret from Greg and Dianna. We offer 3 accommodation options, Possums Hollow, Hooters Hut and Eagles Rock, together catering for up to 15 people. Hidden away amongst 62 acres of beautiful, totally private and peaceful natural bushland in Queensland’s Granite Belt, there really is something for everyone. The property is a mix of open parklands, bush and rocky outcrops. The granite ...rock formations rocks are great to climb (for kids and kids at heart) with some reaching over 10 meters high. The property has many walking tracks (BYO push bikes), and open paddock areas (ideal for a family cricket match and picnics). The property really is picturesque. Situated 950 meters above sea level (100 meters higher than Stanthorpe town) the property enjoys the best of cold winter weather (including snow) as well as the gentle cooling summer breezes, and low humidity. Stanthorpe with supermarkets, hotels, cafes, shops and restaurants are less than 15 minutes away and under 30 minutes away are over 40 cellar doors, Girraween National park and all that the region has to offer. Our accommodation options are perfect for romantic couple’s, family escapes and larger group catchups. We will be doing some minor updating to the beautiful accommodation and will be up and running by mid-February.
