21.01.2022 Thanks so much to Kelly of @villasapi who travelled up to visit us from Nanango, and host the morning workshop on Saturday - the first full day program for Posy Creative Workshops for 2021 The ladies did a beautiful job of their jute lampshades, chatting, eating cake, cups of tea and all in the morning sunshine outside the Posy Studio. Lunch was a delicious Chicken Roulade with Vietnamese mint and raspberry, white chocolate and mint chilled puddings. ... The afternoon spent creating dried floral headpieces and hatpins, in the studio. A great day had by all, with one summing it up with 100% highly recommend Posy Workshops. This is my second workshop and I leave with outstanding pieces that are unique and crafty. 03.01.2022 What a day! . A lovely group of women came together yesterday, to learn the basics of calligraphy & floristry at the Posy & Ink Workshop. . The girls were guided by Sarah of @fielding_milligan learning the basics of calligraphy writing using nibs, ink and a comprehensive booklet put together by Sarah. The ladies were able to write the own placecards for our lunch setting. ... . Following this, the ladies did a fabulous job of putting together a floral table centrepiece. . The table was set for lunch using the handwritten placecards, menus & floral arrangements down the centre of the table to create a beautiful lunch setting. . 02.01.2022 Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou! I recently had these Thankyou Cards printed for clients, to show my appreciation for their valued clientele. But it got me thinking, and I’d like to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to all the people over the years, who have supported and helped me on my florist journey spanning nearly 10 years now (wow!! ) ... My mum who helps me whenever I need it, my family, friends for their help and advice, clients, fellow vendors, friends in retail, workshop attendees, and of course my husband Patrick, who’s support is immeasurable. It has been a tumultuous year, and a stressful time for couples getting married. To say it’s been a challenge is an understatement! But hopefully we are past the worst of it, and can look forward to a return to an altered normality I absolutely love what I do and look forward to new creations, new ideas and techniques as I continue to evolve Posy.
