18.01.2022 There has been an advertised competition to design a recruitment poster for our volunteer fire brigade service. The idea behind the competition was to draw attention to the need to recruit new people into the volunteer fire brigade, to start this dialogue. The recent and ongoing fires have seen to plenty of conversation and action amongst locals and with people displaced and stretched the competition has been cancelled. The prizes offered will be used in ongoing fund raising for the brigade. Apologies to those who have submitted entries or were working on them.
