11.01.2022 Here is my dirty little (not so secret) secret... I was, once upon a time a serial plant murderer, especially of indoor plants! Like, I killed EVERYTHING I found my green thumb through trial and error. Throughout my killing-spree/journey I’ve discovered my favourite (almost murder proof) indoor plants and here is my list... Monstera deliciosa - This is probably my favourite plant. People bang on about the variegated varieties but honestly, the stunning, luscious green... foliage of a beautiful Monstera is all the WOW factor you need! Pathos/Devil's Ivy - It’s the best plant to brighten up a boring old windowsill. It also LOVES to just living it’s best life in a beautiful vase of water. So if you’re keen to start growing hydroponic indoor plants this is a good one to start with. Mother in-laws tongue - This gorgeous plant survives off the sniff of water and light from a cracked curtain (please do water it and give it filtered sunlight from time to time) Philodendrons - The varieties are endless and I love them all! Pop them in a bright corner of your home and it will flourish. Syngoniums - Again, soooo many varieties. I’ve become a bit obsessed with them. They thrive in water and in soil, just make sure they are getting filtered sunlight and they’ll repay you with endless new foliage. Spider plants - They love to be completely ignored so if you’re someone that forgets to water your plants on occasion this might be the one for you. What are your favourite indoor plants? 06.01.2022 When your 6 year old son snaps a good shot it must be posted If only I could show you all the sh@# storm going on behind the camera ... In the space of 20mins the house was a mess, both of my kids were yelling at each other, the little one smacked the big one in the head and when I walked inside someone had taken their sand filled shoes off on the couch - if you know, you know! Sometimes if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry

03.01.2022 Since we are now settling into 2021 life I thought I’d reintroduce myself... I’m Tammy, the creator behind Pots & Tangles. I describe myself as an artist, reformed plant-murderer come green-thumb, food & wine enthusiast, farmers daughter, passionate feminist, humanitarian, wife and mother. Pots & Tangles started back in 2014, when, after having my first baby I had to decide if going back into my corporate sales job was my true calling. I have always had one foot in the crea...tive world but never thought I could make it into full-time career. It was a truly terrifying leap, but over six years later I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. One thing I have learnt through this crazy journey is that life flashes before your eyes, so it’s important to enjoy what you are doing; you only live this glorious life once so you might as well do it right!

02.01.2022 I start my Macrame wall hangings from the centre and I work out from there. I don’t always know how what my final piece will end up. I can’t wait to see this stunner when I’m all finished ... watch this space
