15.01.2022 I've just been informed from a reliable source that Victoria is going into a State wide lockdown for 5 days, starting at midnight tonight. The official announce...ment from The Victorian Government will be this afternoon and all of the police have been briefed. I literally feel very fucking sick and not interested in the politics of why we had to have a State wide lockdown. At this stage the comp will not go ahead this weekend and will be postponed. If it is a Statewide lockdown and you've booked flights and accommodation you will be refunded. I'll post another update after the official announcement comes through. Just spare a thought of what i've been going through all week and have been awake since 4am this morning.

15.01.2022 All fixture match dates stay the same. Any rounds missed due to lockdown will now be played at the end of the season. So the season will be extended another week(s).

Very proud to have the quality of players in the room. have attached the results for week one. as you will appreciate we have had a few teething problems, being the first time we have held a tournament of this standard.... To all if you can get down to the room to watch some amazing 8 Ball you will not be disappointed. 04.01.2022 Ok, so most of you have seen the news it's official. Statewide Stage 4 lockdown from midnight so Geelong is officially off for this weekend........However!! Tha...nks to the amazing Georgia Lu from Bar 8 who has given me her Anzac weekend and the Geelong Open at Slate will be postponed until then. April 24th & 25th and the best part is Monday the 26th is a public holiday in most states.....EXCEPT VICTORIA!! I can't thank her enough If you have accommodation booked i'm sure you can either change it to Anzac weekend or get a full refund for this weekend. If there's anyone that can't make the comp on that weekend and wants a refund of your entry fee send me a message with your bank details and i'll issue you with a refund. Stay safe everyone and to the interstaters that drove half way to Geelong and had to turn back i'm so sorry, i owe you a few drinks
