Thanks to our entertainers Joyce Maynge and the Potts Point Pipers and our musicians, buskers and volunteers for making an awesome night in the Potts Point and Kings Cross precinct. 07.01.2022 Shop Late's 2nd night starts tomorrow from 5pm - Come and Xperience Potts Point at night. From Lou Hunt "The night-time economy is a big part of life here, explains Lou Hunt, of Joseph Hyde in Llankelly Place and a key player in the Potts Point Partnership, a support network for local businesses. Businesses here were already attempting to repair dents caused by alcohol lockouts when the pandemic hit, she says.... So the Partnership’s Shop Late Campaign was initiated, working with funding from The City of Sydney, to bring back the party, one Thursday a month. There will be one tomorrow night and another on December 17. Shop Late has a neon light and cabaret feel. Says Lou: We want people to have the retail experience in Potts Point and stay on for fine dining. Neon lights will be everywhere. Volunteers will make the vibe of the area colourful and vibrant, with buskers, saxophonists and other musicians.
