22.01.2022 Group training is good but improvement / progression wise it’s not going to be as good as remote coaching - @yennyeeee ****** This video is a snippet of our goal setting call this morning. Yen is a long term practitioner who jumped on board remote coaching when lockdown forced us to shut our doors this year.... We reopened in November and she took the opportunity to go back to face to face training. But then she decided to return to remote coaching because results. Without the Personal Training price tag. Like You’ve been at it for some time and should be further along by now?... 2) how you feel so strong in a session and just about a week later, it seems like you’ve gone backwards? Then you must read this: In a study published in the international journal of sports medicine, researchers followed 2 groups of women for a month. One group lifted weights every third day throughout their cycle. The other lifted just once a week during their high hormone phase and every other day when their hormone levels were low. The women who synched their strength training lifting days during low hormone weeks and rested more when hormones were high saw a 32% increase in strength - more than twice the 13% gain of those who lifted the same way regardless of where they were in the cycle.
