23.01.2022 This lovely pair came to us for lessons with issues that the old girl (the horse ) has never been able to come to contact and always been a giraffe, She is 19. She has been set in her ways, is stiff and never had to use her correct muscles.......until now. This is lesson 3 of some very easy walk work and correct transitions with her first trot on lesson 3, to what is shaping up to be nothing short of amazing. She has short sessions to help build her strength and get her ...body used to being able to move. Time and patience is what these guys need, well at any age really. But it can all happen with the help of the right person, and work when your at home between lesson. It’s never pull to the contact, it’s forward to contact. See more

20.01.2022 I have been lucky enough to be asked to assist in a research project into the requirements, needs and considerations of re attaining Off the Track TBs. This is so important as we are basically taking these guys from their career to reshaping their purpose after life on the track. It’s so important they get the right education in the right hands. If not, it’s the horse that pays the ultimate price.

06.01.2022 It’s a bit hard to video and give signals at the same time as videoing, but this is a short snip of what we train our horses to do on a free lunge. Relaxed and travelling with the head down with no contraptions. She is an OTT as well. This is her second day back in work after a few (quite a few ) months off and she remembers her ground work training from so long ago. Our horses are training to do this with no devices or contraptions, just good established ground work. It’s all trained hand and voice command with patients from the trainer. All horses learn at a different pace. There are no short cuts to good training and a cooperative safe horse.
