25.01.2022 Hi! Im Lani, I'm just like you, I'm prettyyy sure I am hilarious and awesome and I KNOW I'm a little bit lost. I'm really just trying to find my feet in this world, whilst maintaining the beautiful chaos that comes with being a wife and a mum of 2 little ones. I love being a mum & wife, I can confidently say its about a 50/50 balance of absolute stress and overwhelming joy I am so lucky to have all this love but Its taken a long time to find what brings ME joy and b...e okay with the fact that maybe I want it all- that it's okay to want it all. A business and a family, and why not? One day I realised, that when I looked at myself in the mirror each morning I just disliked who I was. I didnt feel happy, I felt angry. Angry at the world. Sad at where I was in my life compared to others. Struggling to find what bought me happiness. I began to realise all of that reflected on the way I treated others too. I asked myself, how could I find happiness? I had no idea where to start. I stumbled across it and it started with what I already had - appreciating the little things that often go unnoticed. That feeling of an incredible quote and how it can lift you up when you feel down. Its a smile or act of kindness from a stranger that reassures you there is goodness in the world. It's appreciating the smell of the impending rain, and the rainbow that follows. This change in perception and attitude came from the power of reading. The impact words have on our mental state, our belief systems and our inner peace. Life began to turn around and I found the impact of gratitude and kindness towards myself and those around me. I want this business to be a reflection of who I am now. I want to help you to feel heard, loved and know your voice matters. I want you to be able to look in the mirror everyday and be proud of who you are with the confidence to stand by your convictions and express your true self. Powerful prints was born to continue to allow myself to grow and to share the power of print.
