21.01.2022 Finishing off the mitre joins on this 220mm x 100mm ornate plaster cornice install as the kitchen bench tops got installed earlier this week. Shout out to Kerry from Perfection Plaster linings for the helping hand on this job. These oversized cornices need extra time and extra to install correctly.

20.01.2022 Big Al has been a big help on the project. He holds the nail gun in the left hand and the screw gun in the right hand all day at the ready. We just have to say left or right and he hands us the paintbrush

20.01.2022 Another Powerhaus job done right!!

19.01.2022 A bit of extra levelling needed to fix this newly installed metal beam prior to us sheeting & setting. Walls were 30mm out of plumb on each side which meant reframing And packing out to the existing load bearing frames to now be plumb. 200mm x 90mm ornate plaster cornices to also be installed once the new kitchen has been installed. More pics coming soon!

19.01.2022 We had to use the machines to pull the Ute and trailer out of trouble a few times on this job weaving around trees and a very slick surface after last Tuesdays storm. Not today the work Ute easily pulled the 3 tonnes across and up this little creek crossing today.

19.01.2022 Got our new shirts today!

18.01.2022 Tight squeeze to the roof and also moving machines around

18.01.2022 Last of the brick walls down today, day or two left with packing up the tools and machines and then its on to the next job.

18.01.2022 Problem- fridge space once the new kitchen is installed is 120mm larger than the current space defined by a square set opening. Solution- make the wall 120mm longer by making the square set opening 120mm smaller of coarse! ... Another happy client We do what we say we will do everytime!

10.01.2022 Another job done using the E20!

10.01.2022 Finished off the detailed excavation today after the screw piling was installed in the corner near the machine. Pretty cool watching the piling contractor squeeze in his 3.5 tonne machine in to do his job with mms to spare from the roof structure above. Those piles are screwed in about 1700mm into the ground below.

10.01.2022 Moving 250kg piece of concrete slab with ease through the narrow access to load up the tipper.

09.01.2022 Little concrete slab for A/C

09.01.2022 Got a damp or water damaged ceiling that needs repair? Give us a call

09.01.2022 Replacement of old sagging ceiling and damaged/cracked cornices in a few different rooms of this house last week. Some wall repairs were also required from removing the old damaged cornices, hence the setting under the cornices. Also improved on some very poor diy setting from previous owner around the niche. Not easy blending new and old cove cornices but we get it done.

08.01.2022 A dense patch of bamboo invading a backyard. Difficult to remove so stage one today was using the E20 machine to knock over and scratch out as much as possible. Tomorrow we will hand remove anything left close to fences & poison the whole area. After a few poison treatments we will then dig up the dead root systems.

07.01.2022 Demolition & disposal of exterior shed walls and top hat battens , 2x garage roller doors using genie lift, steel structures from door mounting and guttering. All removed in a day in preparation for builders to do their magic turning this shell into a 140m2 second dwelling on the premises.

07.01.2022 Bringing in the heavy artillery on another demolition job. Thanks again to watacut for getting it done again!

06.01.2022 Digging up 100m2 of concrete driveway to end the week.

06.01.2022 Big effort last weekend on the family project. Bathroom walls finished off being tiled and grouted. Laundry floor and tile skirts ready for grouting this weekend as well as bathroom bed and tiling.

05.01.2022 AFTER - strip out of plant room containing Air conditioning chiller and heavy duty ducting. Full metal ceiling shields with insulation. Tricky removal as it was installed long before any of the recent walls were installed so screws and bolts were not accessible. 25 metal saber saw blades and 20 cutting discs on the grinder later this is another one done and dusted.... literally so much dust!

05.01.2022 BEFORE - Lots of 2mm thick sheet metal ducting. Large fans and electric motors as well as all the structural reinforcement that they attach to. Not the usual type of demolition we are used to but as usual we will get it done.

04.01.2022 Bit of square setting last week, blending into rendered brick walls.

03.01.2022 Powerhausing our way through some more demolition work this week. Pretty much a full strip out back to a blank canvas ready for a new modern look.

03.01.2022 Partial demolition. Removal of all internal walls and doors, cabinetry and sinks.
