This role requires the successful candidates to work autonomously but also communicate well with individuals at all levels, including the client, and displays initiative in their approach to their work. This is a fast paced role and you must have the required experience to succeed. You will be responsible for;... Providing administrative support to Management team; Work closely with Managers to ensure hours and records are kept up to date; Raise purchase order and requisitions; Coordinate supplies; Transactional processing for AP and AR using XERO or similar; Full-function weekly payroll processing for 100+ employees including tax and compliance (PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation); New project setups; Bank & C/C reconciliation; Assist with BAS preparation ; End of month reporting and analysis; Contribution to process improvement to help finance function stay ahead of projected growth; Ad-hoc administrative/office duties as required. To be successful in this role you must be able to meet the below requirements; Previous account/payroll management experience (essential); Strong payroll processing experience for 100 + employees; Experience completing financial data analysis and producing meaningful reports; Demonstrated experience and success in a similar role; Experience using complex Excel spreadsheets; Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills & multi-tasker; Ability to meet deadlines and be adaptable to changing scopes of work; Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices.; High Level of organisation skills; A technical aptitude will be advantageous; Mining industry experience will be highly regarded; Proficient computer skills and knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite; Certificate II, III, or IV in Business Administration (Desirable).
