22.01.2022 APO CUP | Both Australian teams ended their APO Cup campaigns with victories, with the senior team scoring a 3-0 win over Japan. 4 wins from 4 to clinch an undefeated cup victory. The Australian Under 21s also defeated New Zealand 2-1, coming from a goal down to gain their second win of the tournament. Congratulations to both teams!



17.01.2022 APO CUP | A fantastic morning for both the senior and under 21 Australian Poweroos with two wins. An entertaining contest saw the Under 21s claim the only goal in the second half, holding on against a strong Kiwi effort. The senior Poweroos also scored a vital win over Japan. Goals to Josh Merkas, from the penalty spot, and Abdullah Karim with a tidy finish in the second half sealed a hard fought victory.

12.01.2022 APO CUP | Two tight encounters ended play on day 2. Australia defeated New Zealand 1-0 for the second time of the tournament. The Kiwis defended strongly and had their chances, but a single goal won it for the home team. Team Japan beat the Under 21 team 2-0, but the younger side managed to hold their opponents scoreless after half time.

04.01.2022 APO CUP | Australia has won their first ever APO Cup! After beating the Under 21 Power Joeys 7-0, it was time to watch Japan and New Zealand battle for the final spot in the 2021 FIPFA World Cup. Japan and New Zealand drew 0-0, meaning Japan would qualify for the World Cup, but would be unable to overtake Australia on the APO Cup table. Congratulations Japan and congratulations Australia!
