25.01.2022 It is pretty standard at this time of the year for us to pick up customers for their once a year clean where we will find small amounts of mould growth while their aircon has not been used. This is mainly due to dust accumulation which is celluloses (food) when moisture increases. Saying that, it is frightening to see so many aircon systems full of mould and occupiers don't think this is a problem. 24.01.2022 It is correct practice to have your aircon cleaned at least once a year before you use it in the summer season. The biggest reason is 'cos it will more than likely be contaminated with mould. The inactive spore can be blown through your living area and settle somewhere waiting for moisture, when it can become active.
