15.01.2022 *****coolant****** I get alot of phone calls and people ask me about topping up coolant . You can only top up with same coolant as what's in your cooling system , any mixing of different brands, different colours will have a acidic effect in your engine and is highly likely to eat away at alloys ( especially heads) . The safest thing to do is just top up with just water unless you have the exact coolant thats in your vehicle. Ive recently seen coolant top up bottles in auto retail stores , stay away and use just water. Its fine to use what ever approved coolant you want to use provided you flush the old coolant and start again.
