We are once again teaming up with the crew from Innes Group to refit bathrooms, kitchens and widen door ways increase lighting levels and switching access including some automation to help a host of Queenslanders with disabilities have a bit more independence a great project that Powertec is proud to be involved with
23.01.2022 Starting our latest project today providing a new outdoor learning area with the Bamm Building team , we were starting the conduit works to allow power and lighting to be installed

22.01.2022 Schools back in ! Students at Mitchelton High School able to enjoy their freshly refurbished manual arts block with Bamm building removing all the asbestos sheeting and replacing with clean FC sheets and we have upgraded all lighting to energy efficient LEDs and fans as well as upgrading the switchboards so all circuits have RCD safety switch protection and old cabling along the way
22.01.2022 Just a small job but very welcome to the owners of this very busy coffee shop to get some air circulating and brighten up their area , all part of our works with Innes Group looking after Neicon Plaza and all their maintenance and facilities management needs
17.01.2022 Neicon Plaza - Our Broadbeach job has had its lighting totally redone to sleek efficient Led lighting this has made a huge difference in lighting levels and complements the outstanding views from high up on level 12 ready for the new tenants to fit out and start work , Another project with the crew from Innes group adding new flooring new paint work and make good from previous tenants
16.01.2022 Kicking off another new project with Bamm building services, upgrading electrical and removing asbestos from the manual arts block of a high school, we have to remove all electrical fittings and fixtures to allow for asbestos removal then reinstate as well as converting all lights to LED panels and make sure all circuits have safety switch protection
16.01.2022 Compliance requirements don’t take a rest - we just completed our full service package at one of our happy long standing clients conducting emergency lighting testing , test n tagging equipment with a full electronic data base, fire extinguishers/ fire blankets and hose reels as well as safety switch testing, also had time to add some long needed security lighting to the Groundsman shed

There are several units spread over 5 levels we are converting in conjunction with Innes Group -we are at the rough in stage and repositioning cabling , switches and PowerPoints to allow them to be a fully accessible for all height as well as opening doorways this helping young people with disabilities to move out aged care facilities and into modern housing that suits there needs but gives independence
12.01.2022 Today we had to conduct a full audit of the mains supply to our clients building they have been having trouble losing power to parts of their installation. The boys discovered it was an overloading issue that was only happening at certain times during the day and only under certain conditions and that the building didn’t have its own main switch, this is both a compliance and safety issue. We have supplied our client with a full report of what was going wrong and how to rectify it in simple layman’s terms and they are proceeding with the rectification works.
