This client wanted to install solar, but didn’t want to outlay anything upfront. ... The answer? A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This system is installed at no upfront cost to the client. Rather than paying the system off, they simply pay for every kWh of electricity that the system generates. They will be paying far less (at least 50% less) than they were paying for grid electricity. The system is fully operated and maintained by us, and if the system doesn’t generate electricity, they don’t pay! By paying only for the solar that is generated, and backed by a local solar providers, you can invest in solar with absolute confidence. With both solar costs and interest rates at historic lows, many homes and businesses are using finance or a PPA.
