I could see the recognition in my 8 year olds face as we read each page. I could see that he completely understood the scenarios portrayed in the book (he’s been on the receiving end of some ‘unfair play’ at school) and he had a look of both relief that someone understood and optimism when we read the POW plan. My 5 year old has taken the book to school ...and given his teacher a book review while requesting that she read it to the whole class.
