12.01.2022 Day 8: Smart supplementation. Between the late nights, overindulging, crowded shopping malls and the general stress of the holiday season the immune system takes a big punch! 07.01.2022 HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!! And an announcement that doesn't come easy I will be taking a break from Personal Training for a while. I'm sure I'll be back some time, however 2019 is a year for me to pursue other challenges.... I have so enjoyed my time helping others reach their health and fitness goals and assist with nutrition support too. Although for now it is time for a little change and therefore won't be posting on this page for the time being. Thank you all for following me, supporting my small PT and nutrition business, engaging in my posts and I hope some of what I have shared has been of help to you! Please still feel free to contact me for advice or hints/tips anytime as I'd still love to help you where I can. 01.01.2022 Day 7. Take me-time. Be totally selfish, carve away a bit of time each day that is all about YOU. Read a book, go to the gym, do some yoga, pamper yourself, get your nails done, have your lashes permed or extended, get a massage, meditate or for the ultimate luxury detox take a bath; make it extra potent by adding in some soothing Epsom salt, baking soda and essential oils. "Me-time" may differ from one person to another. It may depend on the type of personality you have ...and the little pleasure you get on certain things in life. You'll never be a bad mum to get away some time and have a moment all by yourself. It may be a bit of struggle when you've got little children wrapped around your legs whenever you are craving for some "me-time". You don't have to be guilty about it.
