21.01.2022 This year are very proud to support Stepping Stone House by donating profits from IWMF. Stepping Stone House has helped over 300 young people in its first 20 ye...ars. The idea was to create a secure and safe location for young people in need, most of whom came from an environment of neglect, abandonment, abuse, with exposure to drugs, alcohol and violence, complicated by mental health issues. The house continues as a not-for-profit charitable organisation in which 98% of the money raised goes to the young people. Stepping Stone House has volunteers who provide time where they engage with the young people socially through activities, conversations, music, art, outings and sporting excursions. http://steppingstonehouse.com.au/

17.01.2022 We proudly present trillion at IWMF! trillion are a five-piece shoegaze and dreampop band who share a love of sonic mayhem, a desire to craft perfect soundscape...s and an unhealthy obsession with guitar pedals. Hailing from Sydney, trillion released their six song EP ‘When I Wake’ on Bandcamp and through US based Weatnu Records in May 2019. trillion’s tunes bring together driving bass lines, blistering drums and dual-vocals, layering these with multi-textured fuzz and reverb to deliver a cascading and crashing wall of sound that grabs the listeners attention from the EP's first strum to the last fading harmonic. trillion’s 6 track demo EP ‘Maybe Sometime Soon’ (also released on Bandcamp) received strong reviews and has been featured on internet radio stations in the US, Europe and South America. trillion has built a solid fan base and is gaining a growing reputation; a band not to be missed live. 08.01.2022 Hi Everyone, let's go straight to the main event. We are hugely excited to have The Moonlighters as our main act at this year's fest. The Moonlighters are a ban...d with a single mission: to bring the groove to the people. We want to make you sweat, grind and party like it's 1999. Toe-tapping, head-nodding smooth soul and vintage pop slowly but surely evolves into a gyrating hot mess of boogie, disco and funk. Come and moonlight with us at Inner West Music Fest and feel it for yourself - satisfaction is guaranteed! See more

05.01.2022 Come on down to IWMF and groove to The Temperamentals! Hailing from Sydney’s inner suburbs The Temperamentals bring together four unique individuals to bring a ...new take on some soulful sounds. After growing up in varied Australian and European locations the band have distilled their sound through their overlapping interest in music as diverse as funk, blues, punk, soul, bluegrass, jazz, ska and rock. The Temperamentals deliver solid original songwriting and add a nod to a blend of favoured artists. The crew rally behind bold vocal tones illustrating the trials of modern life and city living and they colour this with a crunchy bluesy edge across a range of tracks drawing from their eclectic taste.
