19.01.2022 A few clips from Part 3 of Kushanku / Kanku-Dai / Kosokun In-Depth series. We are looking at the role of the cup and saucer position towards the start of the ...kata. The first quarter of the kata looks at how to control the enemy’s limbs to open them up for strikes. The app contains numerous In-Depth series which breakdown the full kata and cover the related two-person drills, pad drills and sparring drills. Also added to the app this week was footage from the 90 minute webinar on the ten karate precepts of Anko Itosu. 15.01.2022 To all members. The Kyu Grading will be held in the last week of November, during their normal classes. The Black Belt Dan Grading will be held in the first week of December. We wish all candidates the best on their grading. With the dojo the covid19 restrictions was 20 people for the dojo. But with the government restrictions easing we can now allow 40 people for the dojo (training hall). With the grading, parents you are welcome to watch your child grade at the dojo. The g...rading presentation will be held at the dojo on Friday the 4th of December at 8.00pm after the 7yrs to 9yrs class. With the Christmas Party and covid19 restrictions we will be having our Karate Christmas Party at Mount Isa Ten Pin. It is restricted to 60 guests, so it will be a rsvp event. 12.01.2022 Tonight was a great black belt class we worked on solo kata. Tekki Shodan and Bassai Dai. Also some Tekki Bunkai It was the first time that we had all 7 black belt members in the dojo at any one time. Nice work guys

08.01.2022 To all members. Term 4 starts on Tuesday 06/10/20, our karate classes will start Tuesday night. We are running the classes as of term 3 training schedule.
