25.01.2022 Big weekend at the Qld state titles for the Praga and OK1 Australia drivers. Congratulations go to Gaven Whitmore on a stella effort competing in 2 classes over the weekend finishing 6th in tag heavy and 2nd in restricted mediums , also celebrating a 50 birthday on Friday . Layton and Jackson Smith showed great mid pack speed through the heats but were unlucky in the final. Bailey Bubbles Leeson showed some good speed in KA4 in the monster Jnr Kart but was slightly of the p...ace in the ultra competitive KA 4 field . Justin Hagen made a return to the sport in Tag restricted light . Struggled with some horse power through the weekend found some ponies in the final managing to finish is 6th place great effort on your first race back in 10 years . Young Lucas Blatch collected the hard charger award in cadet 9 in his first major event making up the most positions in his class from qualifying to the final.Lucas improved leaps and bounds over the weekend racing his Praga Evo3 950 cadet chassis. Congratulations to all the drivers and teams over the weekend. 18.01.2022 This time last week the Praga and OK1 teams in Qld were counting the trophy haul after 2 successful rounds . In round 2 Praga and OK1 won 4 out of the 5 classes on the Dunlop DFM tyre which is impressive . Congratulations to the series winners . Luke Pink KA3 Jnr Paul McNeil Tag R light ... Gaven Whitmore Tag R medium It was a great effort by all the drivers , pit crew and supporters. The brands are growing each week and 2020 will only see them grow some more . Emily Calwell has great pace in Tag R light but after a race incident in heat one struggling for track position but faster than the field by 2 tenths. Michael Bell is getting back in the groove starting the final in 6th . Gaven Whitmore is killing it in Tag R medium and working on the Tag open kart finding some great speed in heat 3 sitting P2 and fastest on track in the last 2 heats . Really getting the kart dialed in on t...he MG red Tyre . Jacob Calwell holding his sister at bay in Tag R light for now but Emily is coming for him . 14.01.2022 The Blue Datto enduro was held in Ipswich . The 3 hour feature race sore the old timers Matt Greenbury and Gavin Whitmore pair up for a bit of fun for a great cause in the Praga dragon Evo . With Qualifying out of the way the lads managed P11 as a starting grid. The old boss Matt had a great first stint but unfortunately for Gav’s stint some mechanical snuck in and held up the first refuel stop . The team managed to get the kart back out but a number of laps down . Pushing on to finish was a massive effort as both drivers were fatiguing in the heat . To secure you race number for the 2020 Rotax Pro Tour we ask that you please email the following details to Maddie - Full Name - Class/es y...ou're racing - Three number preferences (E): [email protected] Competitors who have competed in 2019 and are competing in that same class in 2020 will have priority over that number until Monday 13th January - after this date those numbers can be allocated on a first in - first served basis. There is no fee to enter for the series but we ask that unless you're planning on racing you do not take a number for the sake of it as this can result in someone who is serious about competing missing out. A list of allocated numbers and their drivers will be posted on Monday 13th January. We will not reply to registration emails, please wait for the list before asking if your email was received.
