11.01.2022 ANNUAL SUMMER CLOSURE EXTENDED As you may be aware, this years annual closure has provided us with the opportunity to undertake extensive bar & restaurant renovations to make way for the installation of our exciting brewery project! Unfortunately, unforeseen delays & supply issues have created uncertainty that renovations will be completed for our previously anticipated early-mid March reopening. ... 05.01.2022 Sometimes it is hard to believe that the beautiful, dry outback environment surrounding the Prairie Hotel was once an ocean! This fossil is an imprint of an organism that was buried under the sand of the seafloor around 600 million years ago! The sand formed into a hard cement before the body decomposed. Fascinating!
