Rajas is the active quality of the mind, focused often on passion and driven by achievement and excessive movement. Have you noticed how quick moving your mind becomes after a cup of coffee ? This is an example of the Rajasic guna of our mind. Tamas Guna is related to inertia, a sense of heaviness and lethargic thought processes and behavior. We recommend following a daily routine, lifestyle habits, diet and herbal recommendations in Ayurveda to encourage optimal levels of a Sattvic nature.
